Mitchell Collins

Mr. Mitchell Collins, the son of the late Mary Nell and Cula Collins, was born on May 28, 1952, in Moore County, North Carolina. He departed this life on September 25, 2024, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. His parents and brothers, Aaron Collins and
Tommie Lee Collins, preceded him in death.

Mitchell attended Pinecrest High School.

Mitchell, also known as” Kool Breeze”, was a man of dedication. His love for his family was profound, and he had a unique way of expressing it, often through his actions rather than words. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His professional life was marked by a 34-year commitment to Lancer Furniture, Inc. in Star, NC, where he served as an inspector. His dedication and love were reciprocated by all at his workplace,
where he was cherished and loved.

He leaves to cherish his memories his life partner of 38 years, Patricia “Mandy” Townsend, with whom he helped her raise two children, Bon’Na Townsend and Omar Pemberton; three biological children, Chandra Cagle of Greensboro, NC, Tony
Wilson (Princess) of West End, NC, and Corey Lindsay of Eagle Springs, NC; his cherished grandchildren, Juwan and Zyon; additionally, he had the joy of having Nevaeh, Jordyen, Ashton, Paxston, OJ, and Sade as bonus grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Collins (Linda) of Hamlet, NC, and Fabian Collins and Michael Collins (Valerie) both of Eagle Springs, NC; two sisters, Carol Pratt (James) and Vickie Collins, both of Rockingham,
NC; a special friend, William “Kool Bud ”Robinson; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
