Jerry Lee Richardson

January 17, 1948  –  February 3, 2019

On Sunday, February 3, 2019, Jerry Lee Richardson (71), loving husband and father of five children, passed away at Peak Resources/Pinelake in Carthage.

Born January 17, 1948, to the late Danny & Ruby Richardson.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sheree Richardson; three daughters Kimberly Richardson, Geri Richardson, Elizabeth Richardson, and two stepdaughters Crystal Mabe and Mary Dunlap. Jerry had seven grandchildren Crystal, Samantha, Nicholas, Laura Beth, Matthew, Ranger, Bransyn and expecting his 8th grandchild Jacob; two brothers Jimmy Richardson, Ray Richardson, and three sisters Connie Prior, Peggy Smith, and Debbie White.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR; Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was quick to greet someone with a “Hey Baby.” Prior to his stroke in 2007, he worked a long career with Lowe’s Hardware in Charlotte.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 10 at Cool Springs UMC in Carthage, NC beginning at 3 pm.

The family would like to thank the staff at Pinelake for taking great care of him over the years.
