Bishop Debra Renee Prophet (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)- As you grieve your father, the love you felt is not lost. God gave you both the opportunity to love, to create and to make great memories. as you go through tis period of life, know that God is with you. As the days of missing him, still know, God is with you. As you remember the good times, the laughter, know that God is there with you. But do know this, time will take take care of your pain, and you will begin to remember the good times.
We the Prophet family, love you both and your mom and we are praying for you.
God Bless…for your strength is in the Lord…..
Dear family,
My heart aches from the grief that you are feeling.
Knowing of God’s embracing love for you, continue looking to him when ” He will wipe all tears from our eyes, death, pain, and suffering will be no more. ” – Revelation 21:3,4
He says death is an ” enemy that will be brought to nothing. ” – 1 Corinthians 15:26
It comforts our hearts to know this pain will be a thing of the past and through Christ a resurrection for our loved ones.
We ” do not sorrow just as those who have no hope! ” – 1 Thessalonians 4:13

Scott, Donna & family, I extend my condolences to all of you.
We are never quite ready to give up a loved one or experience life without them. God is good, and he in sorrow is close to all those that seek him. Focus on the great memories in the dark days ahead and as often and as James is remembered, he remains very much alive in all who knew him.
