April 7, 1943 – August 23, 2021
George Willis Brower was born on April 7, 1943, in Jackson Springs, NC,
to Ray and Gladys (Ray) Brower.
A faithful member who honored God’s word, George served as Deacon and
Trustee at Restoring Hope and Deliverance Ministries in West End, North
Carolina. Previously, Deacon Brower served at St. Joseph Bible Church of
God in Ellerbe, North Carolina, in many capacities.
George was predeceased by his parents, Ray and Gladys Brower, brother
Bobby Brower, sister Gelimia Walker, and a great-grandson, Matthew Sivels.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Margaret Baldwin Brower; his children,
Pastor Janice Martin (Willie), Margaret (Fat) Nicholson, and Gladys Harris,
all of Jackson Springs, North Carolina, Georgia Harvey of Chesapeake,
Virginia, G. Leottis Brower (Ashley) of Rockingham, North Carolina, Gary
Brower (Teresa) of Lancaster, South Carolina, Carlos Brower of the home,
and Vincent Brower (Lakeisha) of Rockingham, North Carolina; twenty-one
grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Barbara Williams,
Betty Chambers, Flora Matherson, and Eva Dockery (Willie James), all of
Jackson Springs, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law, Betty Hardison of
Bridgeport, Connecticut, Daphne Marshall (Derrick) of Aberdeen, North
Carolina; and Marilyn Alves (Tony) of Providence, Rhode Island; and a host
of nieces, nephews, and friends.
