Daisha Telisa Wooten, 31, of Biscoe, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Daisha Telisa Wooten, the daughter of Lisa Cagle Wooten and Nelson Wooten Jr., was born on February 6, 1993, at Moore Regional Hospital in Moore County, North Carolina. On September 21, 2024, at the age of 31, Daisha was called home to God.
Daisha, a graduate of East Montgomery High School in Biscoe, NC, in 2012, was a testament to strength and resilience. Despite her condition, she was a true warrior, a great little queen filled with laughter and a wonderful smile. Her early years were spent at two disability facilities and the day program at Abundant Life in Randleman, North Carolina.
Daisha loved praising God in church, music, parades, and sports. She was her brothers’ biggest fan.
Daisha was preceded in death by her grandfather, Atlas Collins,
grandmother, Margaret Cagle Robinson, and best friend, Erica Greene.
Daisha leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Lisa Cagle Wooten and Nelson Wooten Jr., of Biscoe, NC; one sibling, Quentin Wooten of Greer, SC; a godmother, Mary McBride of Rockingham, NC; a god sister, Shaniqua Leak of Allentown, Pennsylvania; one grandmother, Pearlie Collins, of Candor, NC; a grandfather,
Alexander Graham, of Greensboro, NC; one great aunt, Grace Thomas; two uncles, Darrell Cagle and Reginald Cagle; six aunts, Kelly Phillips (Will), Tess Wooten (Henry), Stephanie Jackson (Tony), Laurie Barnes, Crystal Graham, and Tiffany Graham; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends.
