May 7, 1944 – January 27, 2025
Aileen was preceded in death by her five sisters, Grace Bradley, Mary Nell Collins, Annie Iola Kennedy, Elizabeth Diggs, Mamie Cole, and one brother, William Legrand.
Aileen worked at Candor Hosiery Mill for many years. Later, she joined Pleasant Hill A.M.E. Zion Church in Candor, NC, where she was a faithful choir, kitchen committee, and missionary department member. Everyone who knew her talked of her smile, which never left her face.
She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Terry Littlejohn of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Gloria Littlejohn and Sandra Littlejohn both of West End, North Carolina, and Gary Littlejohn of the home; four grandchildren, Natasha Davis (Oshane), Nicole Horton, Kayla Littlejohn, and Jessica Littlejohn; one sister-in-law, Millie Legrande; a very special sister, Bobbie Jean Moore of Candor, North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
